At San Diego ComicCon 2023, we celebrated AMC’s Immortal Universe through an immersive theatrical experience called “The Street of Immortality”. To authentically recreate turn-of-the-century New Orleans Storyville as seen in Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, we brought in magicians, musicians, dancers and street entertainers.
The experience kicked with an immersive experience in a custom fabricated, boarded-up building that doubled as a speakeasy. Following the introduction to The Street of Immortality, attendees were encouraged to explore the town on their own. Interactive storefronts, actors and live performers conversed with guests and warned of the “dangers” ahead.
On their journey through The Street of Immortality, guests collected exclusive souvenirs and limited-edition premiums, including sheet music, theatrical posters, talismans and Talamasca notebooks.
